Play THERAPY
Empowering Young Children Through Play Therapy
We provide high-quality, inclusive play sessions designed to support children’s
development through fun, creativity, and exploration. Our play experiences are carefully
planned to encourage confidence, independence, social skills, and wellbeing — all
within a safe, nurturing environment.
Our team brings play to life with engaging activities tailored to the needs, ages, and
interests of every child. From imaginative role play and creative arts to sensory-rich
experiences, we believe play is essential for learning, growth, and happiness.

We are committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring our team stays up to
date with best practice, safeguarding standards, and child development research.

Inclusive Play, SEND & Additional Needs
Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We are passionate about ensuring all
children — including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) —
feel welcome, understood, and supported.
Our team has experience working with children with:
● Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
● ADHD
● Sensory processing differences
● Speech, language, and communication needs
● Social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH)
Activities are adapted to meet individual needs, allowing children to engage at their own
pace and in ways that feel safe and empowering.

Sensory Integration & Therapeutic Play
We offer play experiences informed by sensory integration therapy principles,
supporting children who may experience sensory sensitivities or sensory-seeking
behaviours.
Our sensory-based play can include:
● Tactile, visual, auditory, and movement-based activities
● Calming and regulating sensory resources
● Opportunities for, balance, and coordination play
Sensory integration play supports children to:
● Improve self-regulation and emotional wellbeing
● Develop motor skills and body awareness
● Build confidence and engagement in play and learning
● All sensory activities are delivered in a playful, child-led way, ensuring sessions
remain fun, relaxed, and pressure-free.

Adult to Child Ratios
DfE staff-to-child ratio guidelines to ensure children are supported safely and effectively:
● Under 2 years: 1 adult to 3 children
● 2 years: 1 adult to 5 children
● 3 years and over: 1 adult to 8 children
Ratios may be adjusted where required to support SEND and individual needs.
